Holy crap, I'm speechless. Go watch this.
OK, I'm not entirely speechless. I will say this: on the morning of 9/11 I was shooting at The Fire Zone, a fire-safety education center in New York's Rockefeller Center that is staffed by active duty and retired firefighters. When we received word of the attack, the firefighters I was working with couldn't get down there fast enough. Rather than wait for a FDNY vehicle to pick them up they hitched a ride in our satellite truck which had just been hired by ABC News. They sped off, racing towards the catastrophe that just about everyone else was trying to get the hell away from.
Fifteen minutes after I said goodbye and good luck to them one of them was dead.
Rudy, that man did not waver. Nor did he hesitate. And don't even think about running that despicable ad in New York.
